Newsflash!!!
Easter Weekend (23 and 24 April) has been set as the date for the 2011 Cape Town National.
During 2011, the following format will apply for National races:
- Nationals will be a two day event
- Day 1 morning - Juniors 1 practise and 3 heats
- Day 1 afternoon - Seniors 1 practise of a minimum of 30 min - After 15 min, a green flag will indicate the qualification period. Gate picks for day 2 will be based on these qualification times.
- Day 2 - Seniors 1 sighting lap and 3 races of 15 min each
This format was decided upon in order to draw and maintain more spectator interest, and to afford riders more riding time - especially for the ones that travel far!
